In recent weeks, the U.S. Supreme Court handed down two important rulings relating to the Atlantic Coast Pipeline and the Keystone XL Pipeline. In this article, we will address the ruling of the Supreme Court in the Atlantic Coast Pipeline case (U.S. Forest Service et al. v. Cowpasture River Preservation Assoc. et al. No. 18-1584). Delaware River Basin Commission Finalizes Regulations Prohibiting High-Volume Hydraulic Fracturing Operations Within River Basin

On February 25, 2021, the Delaware River Basin Commission adopted final regulations banning high-volume hydraulic fracturing operations within the Delaware River Basin through an amendment of the Commission’s Comprehensive Plan. EPA and Army Corps of Engineers Finalize Navigable Waters Protection Rule

The PennEast Pipeline Project is a 120-mile expansion project operated by PennEast Pipeline Company, LLC and proposes to transport 1 billion cubic feet (Bcf) per day of natural gas from Dallas, Luzerne County, in northeastern Pennsylvania to the existing Transco’s pipeline interconnection located near Pennington, Mercer County, New Jersey.

The Mountain Valley Pipeline Project consists of a proposed 303-mile interstate pipeline system designed to transport natural gas from Wetzel County in northwestern West Virginia to Pittsylvania County in southern Virginia.
