On Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at 12 noon – 1 pm EST, Penn State Law’s Center for Agricultural and Shale Law will be conducting the latest installment in its Quarterly Dairy Legal Webinar series. The webinar will cover legal and regulatory developments in the U.S. dairy industry in the first quarter of calendar year 2022. The focused topic will be animal welfare, including the growing role of public attention and animal activism in animal production agriculture, an examination of the F.A.R.M. program and other voluntary initiatives in dairy, and the legal and regulatory structures in place to enforce animal welfare standards in Pennsylvania and to protect the private property rights of dairy farmers.
