From November 7-9, 2024, four Penn State Law students joined Center staff to attend the American Agricultural Law Association’s 2024 Annual Educational Symposium in Memphis, TN. The AALA Annual Symposium is a national CLE conference attended by hundreds of attorneys from across the United States. At the Symposium, Center staff and students attended a variety of educational presentations on agricultural and environmental law and policy issues. Ag Law Center Hosts Pennsylvania Agricultural Law Symposium

On Thursday, September 19, 2024, the Center for Agricultural and Shale Law hosted the 2024 Pennsylvania Agricultural Law Symposium in-person at Penn State Law, Lewis Katz Building in University Park, PA. Our inaugural in-person symposium offered 6 CLE credits for Pennsylvania-licensed attorneys. Lunch and refreshments were provided by Hoag’s Catering, a local catering service.

We were especially grateful to the presenters who joined us and to our student research assistants!

Ag Law Center Attends Penn State’s Ag Progress Days

From August 13–15, 2024 the Penn State College of Agricultural Sciences celebrated its annual Ag Progress Days, “Pennsylvania’s largest outdoor agricultural exposition,” at the Russell E. Larson Agricultural Research Center in Pennsylvania Furnace.

Throughout the event, the Penn State Center for Agricultural and Shale Law hosted our annual information booth in the Horizon Farm Credit Exhibit Building at W. 6th Street & Main.
