Food Labeling: Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture Provides Whole Milk Labeling Guidance
On February 19, 2020, the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture, Bureau of Food Safety issued a guidance document to Pennsylvania dairy processors outlining what methodology can be employed in labeling the fat content of whole milk. On March 17, 2017, the U.S. District Court, N.D. Iowa, Western Division dismissed a lawsuit brought by an Iowa municipal water utility against thirteen Iowa agricultural water drainage districts (Board of Water Works Trustees of the City of Des Moines, Iowa v. SCA County Board of Supervisors, 2017 WL 1042072).
