On July 28, 2021, staff attorney Brook Duer will join Penn State Extension in a presentation entitled, “Utility-Scale Solar Lease Agreements.” This presentation is directed towards anyone with an interest in solar leasing but will focus on local government officials. Brook will describe the solar leasing process, how it works, and why certain solar projects are selected.
From the Penn State Extension site:
“Local government officials may feel overwhelmed with the amount of proposed solar development appearing in their area. Brook Duer, an attorney with the Penn State Agricultural Law Center, will discuss leasing activity, what solar leases look like, and how this may affect communities during Utility-Scale Solar Lease Agreements. Following his presentation, participants will be invited to discuss leasing and development activity in their area.”
