From March 6, 2021, to March 10, 2021, Penn State Extension will be hosting the Starting and Improving Farms Conference. The conference is designed to help prepare beginning farmers who are interested in starting their own farming business. Experienced farmers who hope to diversify or expand their business can also benefit from these educational sessions.

The Conference boasts dozens of speakers including the Center for Agricultural and Shale Law’s Jackie Schweichler. Jackie will be speaking on March 8, 2021, at 10:00am in the session titled, How to Get Started with Agritourism.
