On April 19–22, 2026, the Pennsylvania State Association of Township Supervisors (PSATS) will host its 2026 Annual Educational Conference and Exhibit Show in-person at the Hershey Lodge in Hershey, Pennsylvania. 

On Tuesday, April 21, 2026, from 3:55–4:55pm in Empire D, Center Staff Attorney Audry Thompson will present “PA Regulations Governing Agricultural Operations” as part of the conference:  

There are many regulations in PA that cover agricultural operations. Attorney Thompson will cover the basics of the regulations, and what roles municipalities can play in also regulating those topics. She will cover what happens if a municipality oversteps that authority and what led to creation of the ACRE law in PA.
